Watkins Mill State Park has two multi-purpose trail systems. As the name suggests, the Equestrian System is primarily for adventurers on horseback, but it can also be hiked on foot. The Equestrian Trail is a 3.5 mile trail; it is rugged and travels through woodland areas. The Pave Bicycle Lake Trail is 3.75 miles long and easily biked or walked. The trail circles the 100 acre Williams Creek Lake.
