Mysterious & Historic Liberty

Here’s a bit of background on this storied town: Founded in the early 1800s, Liberty became the County Seat for Clay County in 1822. Among its many historic treasures, Liberty boasts one of the state’s oldest private colleges—William Jewell College, founded in 1894.
