North Kansas City offers The Northland at its most urban, which means that this burgeoning community is filled to the brim with local brewers, crafters, and experience-makers that you won’t want to miss. From an in-house Kombucha Brewery, to a state-of-the-art rock climbing gym, to a combination restaurant and pickleball court…North Kansas City offers nonstop fun.

Itinerary

  1. Tour The Brewkery and take their kombucha brewing and tasting class. You'll savor all of the Brewkery's unique flavors and will even get to tour the brewery!


  2. Stop by Grain to Glass for a home-brewing and cheese making class.


  3. Experience some of North Kansas City's exciting locations; RoKC and Chicken N Pickle are a blast!


  4. Plan on eating a ton while you're in North Kansas City, because there's plenty of variety to choose from; Chicken N Pickle, Smokin' Guns BBQ, and Repeal 18th Bar & Bistro are all perfect places for your taste-buds to start their North Kansas City adventure! You'll definitely want to venture to one of NKC's original breweries while you're in town too; Cinder Block Brewery and Calibration Brewery are just two great suggestions!

We Suggest...

  • Give yourself three hours to experience the Brewkery tour, tasting, and brewing class.




  • We suggest you give yourself two hours for your Grain to Glass brewing class.


  • To fully enjoy some of North Kansas City's destinations, you should have at least three full hours.

  • With such a full day ahead of you, we recommend definitely planning on grabbing dinner in North Kansas City. If you're hungry during your day-activities, make sure to grab a quick lunch when you've got a break!
