May 4th, Foodie Tour in Downtown Liberty
Sample cuisine from several of Downtown Liberty’s participating eateries for just $10! The tour is limited to 25 people, so if you’re interested, make sure you purchase your ticket soon! Contact Historic Downtown Liberty for more information!
June 1st, Jesse James Wine & Brew Festival
The 8th annual Jesse James Wine & Brew Festival is located at the Jesse James Park Pavilion. Free collector wine glasses are provided to participants for sampling and beer is available for purchase at concessions. Tickets are available in advance at the Kearney City Hall for $20, they'll also be available the day of the event for $25!
June 15th, Wine Festival
2019's annual Wine Festival in Excelsior Springs will be held from 2:00 to 8:00 and will feature local wine from wineries all over Missouri! Along with delicious wine tastings, the festival features live music and food vendors. Wine sampling tickets for this event are $25.
June 21-22nd, Food.Art.Drink Festival
Linden Square's Food.Art.Drink Festival features live music, food and drink from local eateries and vendors, and merchandise for sale from local crafters and artisans. This two day open-air event is from 5:00-10:00 both Friday and Saturday and is free to attend.
August 16-17th, BBQ and Fly-In on the River
Excelsior Springs' 19th Annual BBQ on the River event features 70 competition BBQ teams, a beer garden, live bands, vendors, flyovers, fireworks, and more!
August 17th, Dog Days of Summer Craft Beer Crawl
Downtown Liberty’s Dog Days of Summer craft beer crawl will be held from 3:00 to 7:00; tickets are $25 per person. Contact Historic Downtown Liberty if you have any questions regarding the event!
September 7th, Mug Shots Progressive Beer Tasting
Mug Shots is a craft beer tasting through Downtown Excelsior Springs; check-in is at Atlas Saloon Brewery and the tour finishes up at Dubious Claims Brewing Company, where you can enjoy live music by the Salem Road Band.
