Summer has finally found Clay! The weather is warm, the grass is green, the beaches are open, and exciting events and festivals are just around the corner! We want to make sure everyone has the chance to get out and enjoy all the fun things summer has to offer us in Clay, so here’s a schedule of upcoming events that you won’t want to miss!
May 25th —Liberty Cruise Night in Historic Downtown Liberty
Enjoy an afternoon and evening around the historic Liberty square admiring the classic cars, then shop and eat in Historic Downtown Liberty. This event is also held on June 29th and August 31st.
June 7th and 8th—Gladstone Summertime Bluesfest at Oak Grove Park
Swing into a fun-filled weekend that is sure to get everyone’s toes tapping with music, BBQ brisket sandwiches, brats, hot dogs, kettle corn, and much more.
June 14th and 15th—Arts in the Park in Macken Park
Arts in the Park will showcase fine artists and makers in the most beautiful park nestled just north of the Missouri River with live music, food trucks, entertainers, and more!
June 15th—Black Powder Shoot at the Jesse James Birthplace
Test your skills & win a prize! This exciting event is a historic shooting competition right outside the Jesse James Birthplace! Cap & Ball Revolver or Cartridge Revolver, replicas ok; fixed sights & dueling stance only. Jesse James Medallion prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place. Historically accurate costumes are encouraged!
