Worlds of Fun

Looking for a thrilling family adventure? Kansas City’s Worlds of Fun & Oceans of Fun has got you covered. With 14 thrilling coasters and rides, including: the infamous Mamba (known as a “state-of-the-art scream machine”), the 301ft tall SteelHawk, and the classic wooden coaster Timber Wolf. For guests a bit too small for the more gravity defying rides, the park’s family friendly rides are perfect! From the Worlds of Fun Railroad (a fully functional steam engine replica), to the Sea Dragon swing, the Grand Carousal, and more…Worlds of Fun offers several classic ride options for thrill seekers of all ages. Don’t miss out on Worlds of Fun’s exciting new rides during your next visit. Hop on the Mustang Runner, a wild new ride that will spin you silly! Or brave the thrilling Falcon’s Flight, a ride that lifts and spins you nearly 100 feet off the ground!

Youngsters will gravitate towards Planet Snoopy, where they can enjoy kid-sized coasters and visits from the Peanuts gang!

Make a splash over at Oceans of Fun with 17 exciting water ride attractions. Catch some waves at the Surf City Wave Pool; relax while you float along the Caribbean Cooler, or brave Hurricane Falls’ 72-foot tall super-slide drop in a four-seater passenger raft. Kids will love Captain Kidd’s, a pirate themed water playground equipped with water cannons, water slides, and a huge pirate ship!

For seasonal spooks, don't miss out on Worlds of Fun's Halloween Haunt - visit their website for a full schedule!

For holiday fun, check out Worlds of Fun's brand new WinterFest! This immersive holiday experience will surround you with dazzling holiday lights and décor (including a 70-foot-tall holiday tree), live entertainment (like DJ Frost E Freeze), and delicious food. The festive fun includes run-ins with familiar holiday characters, ice-skating, and plenty of rides (of course). Don’t forget to stop by WinterFest’s Artisan Alley, where you can peruse wares handmade by Kansas City crafters.

Park opens in May; hours vary.
