SECOND WEEKENDS in downtown Excelsior Springs. The historic downtown is known as an art-lover’s paradise. The boutiques, art galleries, restaurants and stores band together and celebrate with featured artists, live music and shopping specials. Enjoy them all late Friday Night! Shops are open regular hours on Saturday and many are open on Sunday too!

A fine selection of art is available for viewing and for sale. Weather permitting there is music at the Carolyn Schutte Downtown Pocket Park. Murals by artist Jacob Duncan have been created on several downtown buildings and are worth coming downtown to view or see a show at Slightly Off Broadway Theatre (check the calendar) — there is plenty to do during Second Weekends!

A trolley is available on Fridays from 5:30 - 9:00 PM through downtown. A winery is included in the trolley loop. You may hop on or off as much as you like at any destination.
